I am a firm believer that you are never too old to learn. I am not a traditionalist. I question everything, including myself. I am not a perfect man, nor do I expect perfection from the people I know. However, I do expect people to be real. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I have come to realize that the truth hurts, but in truth comes freedom. We all know it hurts to be free.

Poem #30: Masterpiece
Damn!
every time I see
your body
I want to
outline your
figure with a pencil
trace your curves
on paper
and paint your
features with
a very fine
paint brush
You make me
want to be
a painter
and capture you
forever on canvas
so when we
are both dead and gone
future generations
can see you
the way I see you
a picture of perfection
a masterpiece
that gets better
with age.
A beautiful woman
that transcends
all color and race
it would be
a priceless relic
that would
make the Mona Lisa
pale in comparison
to the work of
you are.
